For business, Eden is located in one of the most accessible locations in the UK with excellent transport links to the whole of the country. It is situated on the north/south M6 corridor and West Coast mainline; this is intersected by the A66 which links East to West. This makes Eden within easy reach of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Manchester, Leeds and a train journey of approximately 3 hours to London.
For employee work/life satisfaction, Eden is the perfect location. The District spans across the Lake District National Park and into the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is next to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is the eighth largest District in England but has the lowest population density which means there is space for growth. As well as a sparse population, unemployment and crime levels are also very low.
