Cumbria LEP Business Decarbonisation Event

Join Cumbria LEP at its Business Decarbonisation Summit which is being held on Thursday 26 May 2022 at 9.30am.

This face to face event is at NWA Auction, J36 and will provide the opportunity for local firms to hear from other businesses on how they are addressing the decarbonisation of their operations. The topic has arguably never been more important as all businesses are facing serious escalation in energy costs and looking as to how they can deliver on governments Net Zero commitments.

There will be presentations by Iggesund, First Milk, Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Playdale and numerous other companies, with the intention being to demonstrate how this is being taken forward in every size and sector of businesses in Cumbria. Alongside this, Electricity Northwest will be outlining how they are looking to keep and support businesses in their decarbonisation journey.
