Decarbonise to Economise In Person Event

One of the major challenges currently facing all businesses is the cost of energy, with businesses keen to understand how they can reduce this, going forward. Cumbria LEP has been working to support our businesses to decarbonise and reduce costs through a range of interventions, including our recently launched Innovating for Success grant programme.

In our discussions with businesses, many have said that they would like to better understand the range of options available to them and the Decarbonise to Economise event has therefore been specifically designed to provide practical advice on how to both reduce costs and support decarbonisation. It is taking place at the LEP Business and Conference Centre, Redhills, Penrith CA11 0DT on 22 November from 9.30am – 1.00pm, closing with a networking lunch and trade stands.

During the workshop, industry leads will provide presentations on a range of technologies, including solar, heat pumps, lighting, building retrofit and new innovations and advise on common recommendations that have emerged from recent energy audits. There will also be an advisory session from Electricity North West.
