Free membership of FSB on offer through Eden District Council
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) are experts in business, offering their members a wide range of vital business services including advice, financial expertise, support and a powerful voice in government. The organisation's mission is to help smaller businesses achieve their ambitions.
Through its Inspiring Eden programme, Eden District Council is offering free membership of FSB for eligible businesses.
A variety of businesses in Eden have already signed up, with sectors ranging from industrial to hospitality and financial services.
Paul Foster, Development Manager at the Federation of Small Businesses said, "FSB is delighted to be working in partnership with Eden District Council to support small businesses. We have seen solid interest since the scheme launched.
"In terms of the benefits, the legal support is second-to-none for any legal or human resources issue, ensuring that any small business owner can focus on running their business not worrying about a legal wrangle. The insurance offer is also first-class, tailoring support to the business requirements and often generating sizeable savings. The FSB Debt Recovery support has recently passed £1 million in recovered monies for members, helping to relieve stresses and keep cash flow moving.
"After an incredibly challenging couple of years with reduced trade for so many businesses, most are now looking to recovery and driving their businesses forward. However inflationary pressures, recruitment difficulties and complications in supply chains are all making business anything but simple. The Federation of Small Businesses has been around for approaching 50 years and has a strong track record when it comes to supporting the ambitions of the smallest businesses.
