Funded Subscriptions for Eden-based Family Businesses

For a limited time only, family businesses based in the Eden District can get free access to The Family Business Network’s Premium Subscription through funding made available by Eden District Council.

As part of its new Inspiring Eden initiative, the Council will cover the subscription cost for 12 months.

The subscription, which usually costs £75 + VAT per year, enables your family business to become part of the Network’s community of family businesses, connecting you with thousands of Family Businesses across the UK.

Benefits of the subscription include:

  • Receipt of The Family Business Network newsletters, family business focussed content, including sector insights and advice
  • Distribution of your family business news and press releases through the Network’s channels
  • Unlimited use of The Family Business Network’s logos on your materials to promote and highlight your association
  • Access to signposting, knowledge sharing and contacts through the community of Family Businesses
  • Access to the FamBiz Media Channel, featuring a range of short films, interviews and learning focussed content. Each video delves into what makes family businesses tick and has valuable lessons for those working in family business environments
  • 20% discount off ticket prices for all Family Business Network events (excluding awards)

Funded subscriptions are available until the end of March 2023. 

Cllr Mary Robinson, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Economies and Enterprise at Eden District Council, said:

“I am keen that our Inspiring Eden programme underpins economic recovery across Eden. To this end, I’m very pleased with this initiative which, along with other supported membership schemes with the Cumbria Chamber and the FSB, will provide access to a range of support for local businesses.

“Through these funded memberships schemes, we can reinforce the local business culture that is underpinned by collaborative working and the sharing of knowledge: both of which are critical ingredients for sustainable economic prosperity which will benefit generations to come”.
