Green Heat Network Fund launched
The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has launched a £288 million Green Heat Network Fund (GHNF).
Schemes that will deliver clean heating to homes, offices, commercial and public buildings will be able to apply for grants over the next three years.
The fund will support:
- The commercialisation and construction of new low and zero carbon (LZC) heat networks (including the supply of cooling)
- the retrofitting and expansion of existing heat networks
- The fund will be open to public, private and third sector applicants in England. Individuals, households and sole traders cannot apply
- The fund will open for applications on 14 March and is anticipated to run to 2025. Please contact [email protected] for an application form
