Penrith community funding through Mencap

'My Community' is a pilot across the UK. The Royal Mencap Society is aiming to bring people together to make their community an even better place to live. The organisation wants to focus on what is great about our communities and help celebrate this. Mencap has been working with people in Penrith this year who have generously told us what they are passionate about.

People have shared that they would like to see more collaboration, they would like more inclusive activities available and more employment opportunities for people with a learning disability and other disabilities.

Mencap are delighted to be in a position to have funding available that can be applied for to support new ideas. Please share this with anyone you think this would be of interest to. Please note the funding is for Penrith only.
