Gaudium Ltd, the privately run care services company based in Corney Square, Penrith continues to grow.
The company which already provides day care and home support services to vulnerable adults across the North East of Cumbria has recently appointed Jayne Griffiths to their Team.
Jayne joined Gaudium in March 2016 and has taken on the newly established role of Quality Control Supervisor. In her new position Jayne will ensure Gaudium continues to deliver the very high standards of care provision the company is recognised and renowned for. She has also taken on the role of training lead for the company.
Her appointment realises Mariusz Waluk, Director of Gaudium’s aspirations for the company which was to open a Training Academy. The Academy will be based at Gaudium’s Head Office in Corney Square and will provide facilities and resources to enable the company to deliver in-house training to its staff for the first time. In addition Gaudium’s new Training Academy will be able to provide essential high quality training to other local care providers.
Jayne is an experienced senior Registered General Nurse having worked in a variety of clinical and non-clinical environments in the Midlands.
She is specialised in care of the older person, health and safety, food hygiene and staff training and development. Having gained a Diploma in Adult Nursing in 1997 Jayne furthered her education and graduated in 1999 with a BSc in Advanced Professional Nursing Studies and later in 2008 with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. She holds a NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety and has previously worked as a student nurse mentor and NVQ Assessor.
Jayne says; “I am excited to establish my new role at Gaudium” and states she sees her appointment as “a great opportunity to forge close links with other care providers”.
She explains she has extensive knowledge and experience which she wishes to share with others through her training delivery. Gaudium will be offering free training sessions to outside care providers with signed Certificates of Attendance for all attendees as an introductory offer to its newly established Training Academy when it opens.
If you are interested in learning more about the free training sessions on offer you are invited to give Jayne a call on 01768 890 353 and she will be happy to talk with you.
