The prestigious VisitEngland Awards for
Excellence have been running for more than 30 years. The winners were announced at a glittering ceremony held in London on June 7 2023.

- GOLD for The Quiet Site Camping, Glamping, and Holiday Park of the Year
- GOLD for Guide over Sands Trust Michael Wilson, Official Guide to the Kent Estuary: Unsung Hero Award
- SILVER for Bassenthwaite Lake Station New Tourism Business of the Year category
- SILVER for Shed One, Ulverston Experience of the Year category
- SILVER for Muncaster Castle Attraction of the Year category
- SILVER for Cedar Manor B&B and Guest House of the Year category
